I’ve sat on this review for a little while because I’ve recommended Zorch for years. It’s always been one of the few places in the area I’d point people toward for a genuinely good slice. Unfortunately, my last visit was overwhelmingly disappointing for a few reasons. First, the checkout process was painfully slow. There was a line of customers waiting, yet there seemed to be no effort from the staff to keep things moving. Even after transactions were finished, customers would stand at the register sorting through change or getting themselves situated while everyone else simply waited. A simple “you can step to the side while we help the next person” would go a long way. Second, the prices have gotten hard to justify. I paid around $16 for a single slice and a beer. This wasn’t some elaborate specialty slice, it was pepperoni. At that price point, it starts to feel more like music-festival pricing than a neighborhood pizza shop. Then there’s the cleanliness. There are only about 5–6 tables inside, and several were left dirty after customers had finished eating. we LOOOOVE Zorch Pizza! Their slices are huge! The inside is pretty small- we always order a slice or two To-Go while we walk around Carytown. Our go tos are Almost Like A Pizza Pie, with the sweet red sauce, and the Upside Down with Vodka sauce. The wait is typically 5-10 minutes, not too bad, and they have great pricing for the portion sizes.

Pretty solid pizza. They do sell out, only make so may pizza dough a day. We got there and got the last 3 slices of cheese. While sitting there we saw a number of people that came in, but couldn't get anything. So, just plan accordingly. Small place, just a couple of table and a little bar you can sit at. Great and very sociable staff. NY type slices, decent folding size, flame baked.

While I love the taste of a brick oven pizza, the crust was very thin and wet with tomato sauce. I understand also that they are unable to make accommodations or changes to the Pizza because of supply chain issues. But that really changes the user's experience to their Pizza. Because Pizza is such a customizable food. Outside of that, the veggie, spinach and ricotta Pizza that I had was unbelievably sweet. Whereas I don't think that it needed a sweet component for the umami,

One of our absolute favorite pizza spots! This place consistently delivers on flavor and freshness. Their pizzas are cooked to perfection, with a crust that's crispy on the outside. And the toppings? Always fresh and generous. We've been coming back to this spot again and again, and we're never disappointed. The quality is always high, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. If you're a pizza lover like us, do yourself a favor and get to this place ASAP. You won't regret it! 5 stars, hands down!
